ABOUT TRUDE ZMOELNIG
Trude is for the most part a self educated artist. In 1975 a watercolor composition won her a scholarship for the Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts but she thought it more practical to complete her studies of psychology. Her true creative streak surfaced late in life, when she decided to give her left hand, her non-dominant hand a go. Thus the name Left Hand Gallery. The mixture of her intense interest in the energetic quality of color and her rich life experience is expressed in the variety of her work.
It is her belief that ..." healing is a matter of enhancing one's energy system. The medium I use now is color, the choices however, are frequently determined by the music I listen to as I work".
